45 Years Apart.

In 1979, I took a portrait of Voice Actor @tanyarichvo. We wanted to collaborate on the recreation of one of my all time favourite portraits. The original image has been used many times over the years and is one of my most successful images.

Not only did we both want to re-capture that look on Tanya’s face in a more contemporary style, but I thought it would be cool to use my exact same vintage Olympus 50mm f1.4 lens that took the original film negative all those years ago. It’s an iconic lens with a soft film like quality to it. With the help of modern technology, old lenses can be mounted onto new digital cameras to give that smooth cinematic look.

This was a project that me and Tanya have always talked about doing and it was a true trip down memory lane for both of us.

I got to work with the awesome @alicia.aerial recently on a commissioned photoshoot in The Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham UK.

After all the hard work, we piled out into the street to shoot some cool pole moves as one does!

Check out her fantastic work on Instagram.

I’ve been wanting to photograph a street artist for some time now to do a gallery on this artform. By pure accident I met this splendid fellow recently who agreed to let me photograph him at work.

This is the very cool Street Artist by the name of @ignite_187.

Check him out and give this guy a follow!
